The national leader of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Tuesday, took a jibe at the Presidential candidate of the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar; labeling him Aladdin (a pain killer), political prostitute, a corrupt man who oversaw the personalization (privatization) of national assets.
Tinubu , in a keynote speech at the National Consultative Forum organized by National Committee Of Buhari Support Goups, NCBSG, also took a jibe at the former President Olusegun Obasanjo calling him a “Jehovah Witness”.
“He has been going round evangelizing, telling Nigerians to support the same person he claimed God will not forgive him if he supports. We all know how they fought dirty in the public on how they shared our assets; please ask them why Halliburton left Nigeria.”
Continuing, he said: “They said they are reformed, please ask them what they are reformed of? Before you get reformed you were either a prostitute, an addict or a thief. And before you can be called reformed you must have served out your probation, please tell them they are still serving their probation.
“Nigerians know the nature of the relationship between Obasanjo and Atiku, and we also know the nature of the relationship between Buhari and Osinbajo, which one is more palatable?” he queried.
He enjoined the entire support group to join hands with the ruling party to re-elect Buhari and Osinbajo to take Nigeria to the next level.
Other dignitaries who graced the occasion were His Excellency Prof. Yemi Osinbajo GCON, Vice President Federal Republic of Nigeria, Gov, Akinwumi Ambobe of Lagos State. Senators Hope Uzodinma, George Akume and Ayogu Eze among others.
