Chris Akachi Nwa-Abia, the founder of Chris Nwa-Abia Foundation has set a standard from what he has achieved so far as a Philanthropist of highly repute.

He single-handedly built blocks of classrooms in his hometown Isingwu in Ohuhu Umuahia North LGA, Abia State. This is due to his love for education and human development.
Before now, the school had been abandoned due to severe dilapidation of its structures, but now has brand new 4-classroom model structures with water borehole and modern toiletries and 6-classroom new block built by Abia State Universal basic Education Board, all courtesy of Akachi Nwa-Abia.
Beyond Isingwu, Nwa-Abia has, empowered the entire Ohuhu Welfare, Women wing with cash worth over N500,000.00 in addition to a carton of jumbo size noodles to each of the women that attended the meeting held at Isingwu federated community hall he is also building.

Speaking with newsmen in his Isingwu country home, Akachi Nwa-Abia said his desire to assist the state government and Abia communities, particularly, Ohuhu clan in Umuahia North LGA was borne out of his “calling”.
An illustrious son of Isingwu, Nwa-Abia was born and brought up in the Northern part of Nigeria but came back to his hometown to help in the development.
According to him “Coming back in 2019, I noticed so many defects, especially in the education sector, the quality is very low and the teacher’s morale very abysmal. I then decided to construct blocks of classrooms for my community schools.
“I also constructed a befitting sporting arena for recreational activities of my people”. He stated.
“The standard I’m setting for my people in Isingwu will soon spread to other areas of Ohuhu and I’m doing these with my personal money, no government assistance whatsoever, though I’ve been in touch with the necessary state agencies, who have assured me of the government support over the school project.
“There’s also an ongoing scheme from my Foundation that empowers widows and other indigent women financially for business and other endeavours.”
Nwa-Abia also solicited for prayers and support from his people to do more as he would love to. According to him, “I will do more as time goes on”
