He intimated the Commissioner that already, a Police Post had been completed and handed-over to the police at Galuwyi/Shere, adding that a Toyota Hilux Van would be deployed soon for use at the Police Post.

Responding, the Commissioner commended the FCT Administration on infrastructural development in the Territory, saying that there could be no meaningful development without adequate security.

He said though the safe-guarding of critical government infrastructure belonged to the Civil Defence Corps, he would give instructions to his men to be vigilant and work hand-in-hand with the Corps as they are all stakeholders.

The Commissioner assured that security would be beefed up on the Bwari-Jere-Kaduna highway and solicited assistance from the Minister in the area of mobility and communication equipment.
